Cheeky chaps from Marsden!

Love, love, love these cheeky chaps!  Handmade for a lovely lady in memory of her dad.  She wanted these made in Marsden!  Both bears were made from one denim shirt and included a personalised leather patch (handcrafted from Hord in Marsden) along with a neck ribbon included 3 buttons from the shirt.

Really enjoyed making these bears.  Each one is so individual and making them is a real pleasure.  Knowing that they will be treasured forever is a bonus!

Keep checking in - more bears coming!

 Chelsea Bear

This gorgeous bear has gone to its forever home today.  A loving reminder of a lovely lady.  Really enjoyed making her.  Made from two jersey tops and one blouse with an handmade flower and scarf.

 Springtime!

Spring is finally here - well I think it is - it was 21 degrees last week and it's snowing today!

Had a go at making this lovely Luna Lapin rabbit.  She's handstitched and made from grey felt and my favourite Liberty fabric.

More bears coming and a couple of makes I've made for myself!

My first review!

So excited to receive my first Facebook on line review.  Really given me the confidence with my sewing.  Here's to making more bears over the few weeks - watch this space.

More bears are in my gallery - take a look.

Welcome to my first ever blog!

I'm so excited (and a little bit nervous too!) to be sharing all my sewing makes with you.  Welcome to my first ever blog.

I started sewing during lockdown as a way of keeping busy and quickly found a love for it!  My first memory bear was for my gorgeous neice Lauren who wanted a reminder of her grandad.  I loved making him and he turned out to be very handsome!  She posted him on line and I've been busy sewing bears ever since!

Take a look around my blog to see my other makes.  All unique for the people I sew for.
